According to sources, “Fosse Financial” of Italy recently reported that foreign investment in China had risen by nearly 40% in the last month.

A spokesperson for Fosse Financial apparently commented that the sharp rise in foreign interest in China could be largely attributed to the fact that foreign companies are looking to China to help drive sales as growth in the United States and elsewhere slows. The spokesperson (for Fosse Financial) went on to add that foreign companies are now, more than ever budgeting significant amounts for factories and service industries aimed to serve the increasingly prosperous Chinese consumers.

Sources say that a report by Fosse Financial’s team of analysts and researchers had also revealed that China’s leaders are still attempting to draw investment to high-technology projects in industries such as computer chip manufacturing and telecommunications.
