<p>Care for the ears starts with protecting them. Loud noise can be harmful to the ears as they damage the eardrum. Cover your ears with your hands whenever you happen to hear any loud noise.  Ear problems arise when we use a sharp object like pencil to be inserted inside the ear. This will lead to the puncture of the ear drum resulting in loss of hearing. It pays to use soft ear buds to clean the ears. Removal of ear wax is not recommended as the ear wax actually helps to protect the ear drum.</p>
<p>If you have ear infections it’s best to seek medical help. Ear disorders if detected in children should be brought to the notice of a doctor at once to facilitate early treatment.</p>
