A few Guides for the Cell Phone iPhone Beginning Users

I purchased my Apple cellular phone in early 2008. new user of the mobile phone, I knew nothing about how to use the variety of software available on iPhone. I purchased the cell phone because like many women, I was appealed to the great exterior appearance of the handset. For quite a long time, I didn’t know how intelligent the handset could be and used the handset just for short messages and phone calls while frequently taking some photos with the high quality digital camera. I praise the camera of the cell phone everywhere as I discover that pictures taken by the cellular phone are amazingly wonderful! Until one day, I learnt from another iPhone fan that there is much more to do with my iPhone and I started to work on every possible way to benefit from the cellular phone. The following come several necessary tips for iPhone beginning users.

Capture screen picture: Click the menu button and top side button at the same time and at a fast speed, and you will hear a camera shutter sound. Then go into your photo album, you will find the screen photo there.

Direct access to iPod: When your iPhone is in the unlocked condition, double press the menu button quickly and the iPod player will appear at the top part of the screen. You can opt to play or stop the player. And you can as well choose to play the previous song or the next song by clicking the button marked with a double-arrow on the both sides of the ‘start’ and ‘stop’ button.

Quick access to favourites/iPod/home: First, opt for the part you hope can be reached with a shortcut access. Go into ‘Settings’, then press ‘General’ and click ‘Home Button’, there you will meet 3 choices for the shortcut key function: home, iPod and favourites. Select any of these areas, and when your iPhone is in the unlocked state, you can access the part you have chosen with a simple double-press. For example, I select ‘Favourites’ as my home button and when I want to call those who I call frequently, I just need to click twice the main button. This quick access function is really useful for our cell phones!

Airplane mode: In ‘Settings’, you can see the ‘Airplane Mode’ setting. If you don’t hope to receive short messages or phone calls, whether when you are sleeping or you are having a meeting or on any other occasions, make the ‘Airplane Mode’ in the ‘on’ state, then you handset will be disconnected with any communication signal. Then your cellular phone becomes a sheer device just for entertainment purposes like MP3 player, calendar, etc. And the great benefit is: when you travel on the plane, you don’t have to power off your mobile phone for security purpose. By simply turning on the ‘Airplane Mode’, you can continue to enjoy music, games or other applications with you iPHone as you like.

Wi-Fi: It is simple. Just turn on the Wi-Fi function in ‘Settings’, and wherever you go, the known networks will be joint automatically. If no known networks are available but wireless network is provided there, you will be asked if you would like to join the network. On many occasions you may need to get the password form the owner of the place to connect with the wireless network. Do as it is demanded. Then you can surf on the Internet as you like with the small handset
