Have you ever were enjoying your leisure time in a public garden with your intimate friends or relatives when your cell phone rang loudly and forced you leave your seat? Have you once talked on your cell phone loudly without being aware of the others around you, who might have little interest in your business?
You might feel guilty on considering about those circumstances when some etiquette are likely to be ignored by not a few of us. While cell phones greatly enhanced our life, they also brought trouble to some situations. To be ware of some general tips concerning cell phone etiquette could possibly improve the relationship between you and your friends, family, co-workers, as well as other people around you by making them feel more respected.
Although it may be easier for your family and intimate friends to understand and forgive your improper behaviors, it might not apply to the less intimate ones.
When you are answering a call in the subway, you may unconsciously think that you have the freedom to talk about anything you want because those who are surrounding you have no relationship with you. When you are enjoying your precious leisure time with your family, no one will be pleased on finding that half of your time is spent on calls. When a call comes, politely excuse yourself, or better tell the other people that you will call him/her later.
