Some factors have showed that Nokia has great potentiality do well over the next decade.

First, their product includes low, mid, and high end cellular phones. Unlike big players such as Apple, RIM and Palm, who place emphasis on the high end handsets wholesale section, Nokia has a universal market share in lower end mobile phones in regions like China, India and Africa, where Apple and other companies are incomparable. With respect to that, Nokia has already been the top mobile phone company in the world.

With respect to high end cell phones, Nokia has already have a presence with its legendary smartphone families, more prominently so in Europe. And the Nokia smartphones are favored by a huge number of cell phone fanciers for their very impressive features. Possibly one downside of Nokia cell phones is the perception of not being very hip. But feature for feature, Nokia is in no sense inferior to Apple and Palm. Nokia has had music players on cell phones for several years, and was poised to be one of the first handset makers that bring complex gaming to mobile phones.

Another clue could possibly foreshow that in the long term, Nokia mobile devices will be the most common access point to the internet.
Recently Intel and Nokia announced long-term partnership and the vision to forge a brand new generation of ”pocketable” mobile devices which have the capacity to take place of today’s high end 3G phones, netbooks and notebooks. The future devices will combine the functionalities of computers with the mobility of handsets.
