Foot care involves caring for every part of the foot like the toes, the toe nails, the heel and the entire foot as a whole. Foot hygiene is very important and keeping out foot clean becomes a necessity. The foot has to be given a thorough wash with soap and water to keep it scrupulously clean. While cleaning the foot ensure that care is taken to clean between the toes. Many of us fail to realize that dirt can hide itself between the toes and giving the toes a thorough scrub will help eliminate all the concealed dirt.
Accumulated dirt around the foot especially the hells can lead to cracked heels that can get infected and cause severe pain. To remove the dead hardened skin around the heels of the foot, use a pumice stone.
